Dr Manfred LutzowDr Manfred Lützow, Director, has worked for more than twenty years in the private and public sectors where he gained comprehensive experience and thorough theoretical and practical understanding of the scientific and regulatory aspects of food safety at national and international level.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr Susan SchoenmannDr. Susan Schönmann studied agronomy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH). During her studies she focused on plant science and biotechnology and gained experience as a research assistant. After completing her PhD in microbiology at the University of Zürich she joined saqual in January 2008.

 

 

 

 

Kate GomezDr. Katherine Holmes (Gómez) studied environmental sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH) and wrote her doctoral thesis on microbial methane oxidation. Previously, she completed her MSc. in biology at the University of Cincinnati, USA, followed by several years working in the field of occupational safety. She joined saqual in June 2009.

 

 

 

 

Bohdan MikolasekBohdan Mikolasek studied biology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH) focusing on biochemistry and molecular biology. After his studies he gained research experience working for several years as a technical specialist at the institute of molecular biology at ETH Zürich. He joined saqual in June 2009.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Regina Reimer graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH) focusing on plant physiology and plant breeding. Previously she studied agronomy at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany with a major in plant sciences. She also holds an LTA degree (Agricultural Technical Assistant). She joined the saqual team in May 2010.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sebastian Henning studied mass communication and media research in Zürich. With his interest for international communication and psychological motivation he worked on several projects for the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Institute of Mass Communication at the University of Zürich as specialist for quantitative research. Before he chose the scientific way he worked as a database programmer for a company that develops software for quality management.
