Food supplements
The market for food supplements is dynamic with new product ideas continuously developing. This presents a challenge for companies which have to adapt and react to the competitive market place and also for regulators who aim to apply rules to ensure the same level of consumer safety for food supplements as for food. The safety of food supplements for consumers is the responsibility of manufacturers who are accountable for controlling purchased raw material, quality assurance during manufacturing, transparent labelling and responsible use of claims.
