Functional foods & health claims

 

Innovation by food industry is focused on functional ingredients that provide added value for the consumers by contributing to their well-being or improving their health. The development and marketing of such products takes into consideration the available science and relevant legislation but it is also based on a responsible attitude and approach by the manufacturer who explores the borders of what is acceptable to consumers and regulators.

 

We support the creative process of product development that leads to successful consumer products and the ingredients to be used. Where essential, the required dossiers for submission to European authorities will be prepared by our experts.

 

On health claims we collaborate since 2008 with the US-based Life Sciences Research Office, Inc (LSRO).
